Application deadline
The application deadline is Sunday, November 8, 2026. BCA says all sections must be completed correctly by the deadline.
November 12, 2026
Check the portal for your test date and time
BCA selects each student's test date and time, and applicants cannot choose. Families check the student portal on or after November 12 to find the date and time.
November 21, 2026
Admissions test
The admissions test is planned for Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22, 2026. BCA asks families to keep both days open between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
November 23, 2026
Illness notice for a make-up test
A student who is ill on test day must email Admissions@bergen.org on Monday, November 23, 2026. BCA says it will provide the make-up test date.
December 1, 2026
Last day to change recommender emails
Applicants can change recommender email addresses as needed until December 1, 2026.
January 4, 2027
Counselor portal date for transcripts and recommendations
The counselor and teacher help page lists Monday, January 4, 2027 for transcripts and recommendations. For anything submitted after that date, it tells counselors to email admissionsupport@bergen.org.
- February notice
- BCA says applicants to the Bergen Academies are notified in February, through the portal at studentrecs.bergen.org, about whether they will continue in the application process.
- Interviews
- BCA describes the interview as a forum for faculty to meet and speak with prospective students and learn about their interests.
- Schedule changes
- In the event of a power failure, BCA says the test may be postponed to a subsequent weekend.
